| 2180 to the Rescue Hearts & Heroes - Melrose Rugby 7s 2010
Hearts & Heroes - Melrose Rugby 7s 2010 Cadets and staff from 2180 joined with members of the 1Btn Royal Regiment of Scotland to collect funds for PoppyScotland at the Melrose 7s on 10th April.  An unexpected phone call earlier in the week saw 14 Cadets and 4 staff step in to fill the breech at short notice when the Army were unable to undertake the morning shift at the Greenyards during the 127th playing of the world famous Melrose 7s Rugby Tournament. PoppyScotland and the Hearts & Heroes fund were named by Melrose RFC as their nominated charity for the prestigious event which sees over 20,000 visitors arrive in the Borders town for the tournament.
