Drill is an essential part of being an ATC cadet.It teaches self discipline and promotes teamwork.
Cadets take part in the annual Wing Drill Competition, and the winning team goes on to represent the Wing in the Regional competition. The Regional competition is usually held at either Tulliallan Police College or HMS Caledonia.
Cadets also participate in Armistice Parades each November, as well as other events in their local area during the year.
