Hockey is an open competition (bone fide enrolled cadets) Squadron teams of 6 girls compete at Wing level for the trophy.
During each of the matches the wing selectors are looking for potential members of the wing Junior (Under 16) and Senior (Over 16) teams.
Invitation to a number of trial games may follow, with ultimate selection for the wing team the ambition of each player.
If selected you will receive your wing “blue” when you play at regional level against one of the other wings. A similar exercise is followed at region, to select the best team to go forward to represent the region at Corps level, where a regional “blue” may be gained.
